Olivia also began training at the age of four. She was very much influenced by her older brother Davide who was already enrolled in the Grasshoppers program. Her determination and drive gave her the push to want to reach her black belt level as young as her brother Davide. The other influence in Olivia's training is her best friend Miranda Power. The two girls have been training side by side since day one and have tested and achieved every belt together. They both achieved their 1st Degree Black Belt together in an emotional test in May of 2017
Olivia is a French student at Bois Joli and has begun teaching in the night time program which has really peaked her interest in becoming a full instructor one day.
Miranda began training at the young age of four years old. Being the daughter of Master Power, she has been immersed in TaeKwonDo since she was born. Miranda is extremely dedicated to her training and blessed with an incredible work ethic and passion to one day "take over the family business". Miranda loves to do TaeKwonDo with her best friend, Olivia Gillis. The two girls have been training side by side since day one and have tested and achieved every belt together. Miranda attends Michael Wallace Elementary Schoool with her younger brother Beckett. Miranda has taken on the role of an assistant instructor in both the after school program and night time programs.
Mathieu first started his training with Grasshoppers in 2009. After obtaining his green belt he took a break and joined Grasshoppers again in January of 2015. Mathieu started working as a staff member of the homework tutor in the Grasshoppers after school program, but has really taken an interest in becoming a full time instructor and has been taking personal lessons from Master Power. Mathieu now helps teach TaeKwonDo classes with the after school program and the night time program and enjoys seeing the progress of all the students he teaches. Mathieu is preparing to test for his black belt later this year.
Mathieu currently works for Grasshoppers in the After School Program as a TaeKwonDo Instructor.
Brooklyn has been in TaeKwonDo since she could walk. Being the daughter of Master Power she has been immersed in TaeKwonDo since she was born. Brooklyn is blessed with a natural athletic ability and has achieved multiple medals including Provincial Poomsae and Board Breaking Champion. Brooklyn has been training hard and is set to get her 1st degree black belt in the next six months.
Brooklyn attends Caledonia Junior High School. Brooklyn started teaching with the after school program, and has now moved into a leadership role where she is teaching the younger group and leads the 4/5/6 year olds in the night time classes.
