Phil Powers

Master Power
President / Chief Instructor

Master Power has always wanted to open a private school where you could learn TaeKwonDo as a core subject as well as get your schooling.  He was discussing this with a friend when jokingly suggested to "pick up his kids and try it out" although not a private school yet, the after school program was born in 2003.  Starting out with only 5 kids and one staff member Master Power had  a vision and acted on it.  Now having a full program with pickup directly from school, TaeKwonDo classes, homework study time, arts and crafts, and then pickup by the parents the program has now really grown.  Grasshoppers After School Program now has 40 students, 5 full time staff and 3 part time staff.

Master Power is the Chief Instructor and teaches the After School program with the same passion he teaches the night time TaeKwonDo program.  (for more info visit the Martial Arts Home page)
